Ian Priston

Ian has 15 years top flight PR experience and joined the Coast team following a successful career at Her Majesty's Courts Service, London Region, where he established a public relations function.

Adept in managing major press events, Ian has a detailed knowledge and understanding of the world's press.

He has a strong understanding of new and emerging media and whilst at the Courts Service implemented strategies to better respond to breaking news stories and engage with commentators.

An accomplished media trainer Ian is experienced in coaching people to engage with the press in all its shapes and forms.

Ian also brings considerable know how in creating and delivering international communications programmes and is skilled in dealing with diverse social and faith groups.

Outside work Ian regularly provides communications and public relations advice to local charities in his home town of Herne Bay, where he is particularly active with the Pier Trust.
